----Sound
Healings
--------from
Live Concerts, Radio Interviews and Workshops
June 2010
This sound healing comes from a workshop I gave on using
Tibetan Singing Bowls and the voice for healing. The
participants are standing in a circle with their backs to
the center. As they play their bowls, I begin the healing by
singing myself with the bowls.
I then suggest that they begin to sing, adding their own
voices to the sound healing process.
After a few moments of chaos, you hear me offer some ideas
to them as they are singing.
Feel the quality of the space behind you. Breath from the
space behind you, and sing back into that space behind you.
Feel the quality (of energy) that is being built into the
space behind you.
One of the most common places for Guardian Angels to sit is
actually behind us. So in this formation you are building
energy, creating an energetic bridge between you, and the
Guardian Angel that is always sitting with you. As you focus
attention behind yourself in sound making you build that
energetic bridge between yourself and your Guardian Angel or
Higher Self. You create the ability to hear more clearly
what it is that Spirit is telling you.
Notice that on the recording the chaos of sound evolves into
a lovely chorus of harmonies. As each person placed their
attention on the space behind themselves, they were better
able to sing the notes that their angels were
suggesting.
If you belong to a chant circle, try this, sitting with your
back to each other. You can also use this technique when you
need to find just the right words to say to someone. Our
angels love to be invited into our lives. This is one way to
do that.
My blessings to you all,
-Norma
