medicine,
tu unguenta per sanctum Filium tuum
infudisti in plangentia vulnera mortis,

O luminous shining Mother of sacred
healing,
through your holy Son you poured your salve
upon the wailing wounds of death,
which Eve opened as torments for our souls.
You destroyed this death,
